Banana and Quinoa Porridge

Using the delicious milk of Efeler Milk, we recreated the famous porridge countless British people eat for breakfast since their childhood days and got Oliver Twist into trouble for asking for a second helping. Our version is made not with oatmeal, but with quinoa, which has taken hold of our kitchens in recent years. The choice of fruit is entirely up to you, but we love this banana version!

Ingredients (Serves 2):

Drain the quinoa and place in a small saucepan, add water and bring to a boil, spoiling occasionally. Cook for 15 minutes until the water evaporates and the quinoa is soft.

Add milk, cinnamon, salt and cook stirring constantly over medium heat for 7 minutes. Cool before dividing into two serving bowls, add sliced bananas, sprinkle with walnut, seeds and date syrup.
